The Twenty's Plenty petition is now closed, although FSF campaigns around ticket prices are still ongoing.

What is Twenty's Plenty? A call upon football clubs at all levels of the game to recognise and reward the amazing contribution of away fans by getting together to agree an across the board price cap on away match tickets of £20 (£15 for concessions). Prices are too high and they often hit travelling fans hardest - we want to fix that.

What did the Twenty's Plenty petition achieve? The key idea behind the FSF’s Twenty’s Plenty petition was that clubs should offer away fans cheaper deals on a reciprocal basis, preferably for £20 or less. This idea was used by nine clubs during 2013/14 saving 31,807 fans a total of £342,260. That number will surpass £500,000 during 2014/15.

In addition it created a campaigning environment in which the Premier League saw fit to introduce the £12m Away Fans Initative. This equates to £200,000 per club, per season and is budgeted money which must be spent on away supporters. The best deals reduced ticket prices on the gate, while others offered free coach travel.

Perhaps as importantly the petition really pushed the issue of ticket prices up the agenda. Five or six years ago, very few in the game cared about the issue; nowadays it's widely recognised as an issue by ex-pros, high-profile journalists, and politicians.

Can I do more? Yes! The FSF will lead a demonstration of fans at the next meeting of the Premier League shareholders held in central London on Thursday 26th March (time TBC). This is a vital protest for fans from ALL leagues; we want to see you there regardless of the club you support.

Also sign our new #ShareTVWealth petition - this triggers an email to them and the relevant league outlining your support for lower prices/redistribution of TV wealth throughout the pyramid. It's a vital step in this campaign as the PL and FL always insist that clubs hold the power.

Its a disgraceful situation where home and away fans are exploited. There is such money in the game yet fans are still charged way to much. If the German leagues can sustain lower prices why can't we? £40 for a ticket at Norwich which is a crap ground into the bargain.

£20 is plenty for a away game and even home game every seat in every area priced the same.Football is always saying it wants to attract families but then sets prices that prohibit them attending. Give football back to the people certain clubs mine included do excellent pricing for certain games and season tickets but more can be done. £40 for a Championship away fixture is too much just has it would be in the premier league.European clubs attract top players and charge reasonable prices let's have the same here.

As home fans can get cheaper season ticket deals, it is the away fans that are affected most by these high prices. It is not the same as selling other products, there is no competition between clubs on pricing, there is only one match you can go to. Loyal fans need protection from clubs who can charge what they want and know fans have no other option.

£20 is a fair price for an away ticket. As a family it can get very expensive & effectively price you out of going to an away match

Too much money stays in the the top flight meaning lower league clubs have to charge too much.

Season ticket prices are enough for loyal fans, only the real loyal fans will go away and prices are gettign ridiculous! more fans would attend away games if prices were capped, across the board at £20, making better attandences and atmosphere at all games

£40 for an away ticket at Norwich (or anywhere else) is an absolute joke. If football wants to distance itself from its supporters by hiking prices and relying on TV and sponsorship money then we are heading for empty grounds and canned applause.

As a Middlesbrough Fan we travel very well but often have long expensive journeys to make from a town that doesn't have that much money coming our way. For us to stay loyal and travel as well as we do it would be great to get away ticket prices down. Football is nothing without fans, im sure every other club would agree.

Derby away at Norwich, £40. England away in Italy, £14.Not to mention you can do a return flight to Italy cheaper than a return train to Norwich. When it's cheaper to watch an international match abroad than an away championship fixture, the proof is in front of you that something's very wrong!

If they want to encourage the next generation of fans in this is an issue that needs addressing. There have been plenty of Championship games I'd take my two kids to but have been priced out of, the latest being one at Norwich where it's £74 for the three of us. No chance am I paying that.
