The Premier League has signed a new TV mega-deal worth £5.14bn, and that’s just for UK rights. The increase from the last domestic deal alone equates to £40+ for every fan, at every game; top-flight clubs have to bring down ticket prices and support lower-league/grassroots football. There are five billion reasons why clubs should #shareTVwealth!

Fans demand that clubs:

  1. Drop prices for home fans;
  2. Commit to the FSF’s Twenty’s Plenty away price cap;
  3. Redistribute more wealth to support lower-league and grassroots football.

Important! Please make sure to SELECT A CLUB below. This triggers an email to them and the relevant league outlining your support for lower prices/redistribution of TV wealth throughout the pyramid. It's a vital step in this campaign as the PL and FL always insist that clubs hold the power.

    If I was to go and watch an Arsenal game the combined prices of food, tickets and travel would make it almost impossible to do. However if Arsenal were to lower their ticket prices for home games especially, this cost would become much more affordable.

    This world where the only thing anyone cares about is the accumulation of wealth and cash is one not worth living in, so I will be staging a suicide at the next arsenal game I can afford to go to in the hope that the club and others will listen to the demands of the fans and we will see a change.

    Premier league and championship clubs have vast wealth and the ability to make football affordable for their fans while being able to compete on the pitch. Leagues one and lower have no choice but to have high ticket prices, relying on the loyalty of the local community to support them, just to try and compete. The top dogs don't want lower league football to exist it only benefits them in terms of betting. The time is close for change but it's important we as fans keep supporting our local teams and community. Remember the media want you sat at home watching football and their adverts! It's the local pubs and shops that loose out when clubs become unsuccessful. Don't let your club be one of those!

    Fans shouldn't have to raise this petition - it should come from the billionaire owners of the big clubs. Our manager was right (Flores at Watford) when he said all the money swilling around now should mean the fans go free.

    Sets of rival fans (Spurs/Arsenal, Everton/Liverpool, Aston Villa/West Bromwich Albion, etc.) should hold joint protests prior to their next matches to reinforce the message that ticket price escalation has gone beyond silly to downright offensive. Perhaps not entering the stadium until 20 minutes has elapsed would make the point. Imagine a televised Scouser derby with a less than half full Anfield or Goodison Park being shown on national TV... what an embarrassment for the League that would be!

    In days of high unemployment rates & ridiculously high student debt, clubs should look after their supporters by making games affordable for all. No more jargon, games ARE NOT accessible to all due to the general cost of tickets. So, #ShareTVWealth

    I come from a working class background and live around 10 miles away from Old Trafford, but due to the ridiculous prices set by my club, which is one of the richest clubs in the world too, I only get to see around 2 games a season and these are usually smaller games where the ticket prices have been reduced. Clubs in Britain should take suit from the Bundesliga and La Liga and realise that the most important thing in football is the fans.

    The lack of young supporters is becoming increasingly noticeable, and needs addressing. The product is great, and demand is high. However I can't help feeling that it's new young supporters that drive the atmosphere we all love. High ticket prices will eventually kill off the match day experience.

    Leicester top of the league - but I haven't forgotten where the club has come from and its' rather chequered history in the top flight. FSF's proposals will create a more level playing field which will encourage any city club with a good level of support to think that they can be more than a bit-part player in the Premiership.
